Lilavhumi Sagar Beach Kuakata of Apar Sounday is about 18 km long. Kuakata Beach offers beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Next to the beach there is a coconut plantation of more than 150 acres known as "Coconut Kunj". In 1960, Mr. Faiz Miah leased 167 acres of Khas land and started this garden under the name of 'Farms and Farms'. On the eastern side of the beach is the lovely Zhou Garden. In the financial year 1997/98, the Forest Department developed the Zhou Garden on 15 hectares of land adjacent to the Sea Beach. After this there is another huge forest area called Chargangamati. The forest includes Chaila, Keora and Kadai Bagan. There is a beautiful lake in the middle of this huge garden. 5 km west of Kuakata beach there is a forest department garden at Lembu Char. The forest has Kadai, Gewa, Chaila and Keora trees. Tourists visit here. To the east of the estuary of the Andharmanik river is the Lembu Char and to the west is the vast forest of Fatrar Char. Although the garden is geographically located in Barguna district, tourists coming to Kuakata travel there by trawlers for entertainment. Shutki village is 7 km west of Kuakata beach. More than half a hundred businessmen dry various fishes and make shutki in winter season. Tourists flock to watch fresh fish being cut and dried. You can see the fishermen fighting for their livelihood fighting against the waves in the sea hunting for hilsa. One can see the unique sight of different species of fish caught in the net. Tourism holiday homes and restaurants of the Tourism Corporation, Zilla Parishad and LGED state-of-the-art Dak Bungalows have been developed for the convenience of tourists. Also, many residential and food hotels have been developed under private management. Rakhine Cultural Academy, Rakhine Women's Market, along with traditional wells and Buddhist temples built by the government. Ecopark and airport are planned at Gangamati in Kuakata tourist area.
